Summertime Fun!

For something truly “Seattle” in the summertime, don’t miss out on the Lake Union Wooden Boat Festival, happening 4th of July weekend (July 3-5). Celebrating the maritime heritage of the NW, there will be plenty of hands on fun for everyone!

Happy Independence Day! See the fireworks display over Lake Union and the Space Needle this year. If you don’t mind crowds, try finding a spot to watch in Gas Works or South Lake Union Park; there will be a beer garden, food and entertainment aplenty.

West Seattle Summer Fest will be going on July 10-12. Come check out this neighborhood street festival and enjoy shopping, arts, crafts, local food, live music, a beer garden and great people watching.

Don’t miss one of Seattle’s Seafair signature events- The Torchlight Parade, happening on July 25th! Find your spot early along the 2.5 mile route through downtown Seattle to see the Seafair pirates, the bands and the dancing dragons.

Enjoy drinking wine while checking out exotic animals? If this sounds like a check off your summer to-do list, then don’t miss the Tasting Flight Wine Event at the zoo event happening at the Woodland Park Zoo on July 24th. Get your tickets early, entry for this fundraiser is limited and will sell out
