History Combined with the Now in Capitol Hill
This historic, diverse neighborhood is located just east of downtown and South Lake Union and just north of First Hill with all the medical facilities. The main street “Broadway” entertains day and night, while the Pike/Pine corridor offers the trendiest restaurants and clubs and the new Starbucks Reserve Roastery. North Capitol Hill is home to huge mansions, lovely Volunteer Park and the Conservatory as well as the Seattle Asian Art Museum. Lakeview Cemetery, where many famous people are interred, is just north of the park. Capitol Hill has excellent public transportation including a new light rail station connecting to downtown, the University of Washington and Sea-Tac airport. There is also a streetcar to the International/Stadium District.
