The non-profit Seattle Architecture Foundation offers a wide variety of walking tours, many in downtown Seattle, but in other neighborhoods as well. Favorite tours are Historic Skyscrapers, Art Deco:Diamonds and Gold and the residential Harvard/Belmont tour of the Landmark District. Some specialty tours are geared for families, with interactive tours geared for children ages 5-10, or Hard Hat tours of the city’s newest architectural treasures Recently some member inns of the Seattle Bed & Breakfast Association took the Greatest Hits Tour and we, most of us long term residents of Seattle who consider ourselves experts on the city, saw things we’d never seen, or noticed, before. Tours are offered every Thursday, Friday and Saturday all year long.
