Eclectic Experiences in Fremont, Phinney Ridge and Ballard
Fremont is the self-proclaimed “Center of the Universe” and home of the infamous Troll that lives under the Aurora Avenue Bridge. Funky and fun with plenty of restaurants and shopping, it is located ten minutes from downtown. Head up the hill and enjoy mountainous views from Phinney Ridge. Our 90-acre Woodland Park, the Woodland Park Zoo, and the adjacent Green Lake Park, are perfect for an afternoon walk before enjoying dinner at one of Seattle’s best neighborhood restaurants. Ballard is known for its Scandinavian heritage, site of the Hiram Chittenden Locks, and thriving historic Ballard Avenue. Ballard is rich in historic pride, with several well-known landmarks, many which house superb restaurants and appealing boutiques. The Nordic Heritage Museum, founded in 1980, occupies a building used as an elementary school for more than 70 years. At the western edge are the salty, sandy beaches of Golden Gardens Park. All this within a neighborhood ranked as one of Seattle ‘s top five walkable neighborhoods.
