Located on Capitol Hill in Seattle, Washington, the Bacon Mansion is just two blocks
north of the Broadway business district that has many restaurants and shops. We are
in the designated Harvard-Belmont Landmark District with great architectural diversity
and an urban forest. Volunteer Park, home to the Seattle Asian Art Museum, a Victorian
Conservatory, water tower with a great view and adjacent to Lakeview Cemetery is but a
few blocks away.
The bus line is just a short block away and can whisk you downtown and to Pike Place
Market in less than 15 minutes as it is but 2 miles away. Our bed and breakfast is close
enough to everything, though far enough away, making your stay here both relaxing and
The Bacon Mansion guestrooms vary in size and decor. Starting with two rooms with shared bath in third-floor dormers to the huge Capitol Suite with a king and queen bed in an attached sunroom, we have something for everyone. We even have a carriage house with two separate rooms, the downstairs suite being handicap accessible. Rates vary based on time of year, room, and any additional guests. Wi-Fi is free with 3 routers throughout the mansion.
Our main floor is very spacious with a turn-of-the-century library, dining room that seats
up to 14 at a time, large living room with grand piano, and foyer. Guests enjoy the outside
patio with a fountain, often bringing back goodies from Pike Place market to enjoy in the late afternoon or evening with their beverage of choice. We occasionally host private events on the main floor and patio.
