Seattle's unique neighborhoods are all located within minutes of downtown and are easily accessible by bus.

Greenlake

This neighborhood is in north central Seattle. Its centerpiece is the lake, surrounded by Greenlake Park, which is a beloved favorite of all Seattle. The park's amenities include 3 miles of walking/biking trails around the lake's perimeter, as well as tennis courts, swimming, boating, a theater, and a playground. The neighborhood is a wonderful oasis in the heart of the city.

University District

North of Capitol Hill, the University District is a vibrant collection of bookstores, coffee houses, and ethnic restaurants on the "Ave", the main street of this neighborhood. The University of Washington campus is a great place for a scenic walk and hosts the Burke Museum and the Henry Art Gallery. Combine this with proximity to the University Village shopping area and this neighborhood has something for everyone!

Capitol Hill

This neighborhood just east of downtown exemplifies the city's diversity. The main drag "Broadway" entertains day and night. See everyone from students to seniors strolling and shopping at a variety of neighborhood shops, galleries, cafes, and restaurants. Home to Volunteer Park, a 44-acre respite featuring the Seattle Asian Art Museum, a beautiful Victorian conservatory, the water tower with a great view, and Lakeview Cemetery, where many famous people, including Bruce Lee, are interred. Close to Japanese Gardens, Arboretum, and all points of interest.

Queen Anne Hill

Located to the north of downtown, this is one of Seattle's most scenic neighborhoods. At the base of the hill is the 74-acre Seattle Center which was the site of the World's Fair and home of the Space Needle, the Monorail to downtown, the Pacific Science Center, the Fun Forest Amusement Park, the Children's Museum, the Opera House, the Intiman and Repertory Theatres, and the Key Arena - home of the Seattle Sonics.
