It’s Irish Week in Seattle!

What originally began as a day of mourning for Ireland’s Patron Saint on March 17th in 461 AD has long since turned into a celebration of everything Irish!

Come find your inner Irishman (or woman) this March 17th with a trip to one of Seattle’s favorite Irish restaurants for a pint and some old fashioned Irish corned beef and cabbage.

Here are a few to choose from:

T.S. McHugh’s 21 Mercer Street 206-282-1910

Paddy Coynes 1190 Thomas Street 206-405-1548

Kells Irish Restaurant & Pub 1916 Post Alley 206-728-1916

Fado 801 First Avenue 206-264-2700

March along or just watch the fun with the St. Patrick’s Day Parade beginning at 12:30 p.m. on March 17th at 4th Avenue at Jefferson to Westlake Park and officially ending at the Seattle Center Closing Ceremonies at 2 p.m.

The monorail will be free from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. for travel from Westlake Park to the Seattle Center to participate in the 2012 Irish Festival held there. Join the fun and go GREEN!
