Inn of Twin Gables offers personal attention to your comfort and service to make it your home away from home. Our three comfortable guestrooms all have private baths, and we prepare a substantial gourmet breakfast incorporating fresh herbs from our garden. Free local phone, parking, and Wi-Fi.
Built during the Arts & Crafts Movement in 1915 by Scandinavian sea captain and shipwright, A.S. Nilson, Inn of Twin Gables has original Western Hemlock interior woodwork and box-beamed ceilings with old world fir floors. Furnished with period antiques and accessories, this bed and breakfast provides a cozy atmosphere with an enclosed sun porch for morning coffee and sunset viewing and a well-appointed living room with fireplace and overstuffed furniture.
Inn of Twin Gables is located on the west slope of Queen Anne Hill in Seattle, Washington, close to Magnolia, Ballard, and Fremont. The eclectic Queen Anne neighborhood, named for its architecture, is just north of downtown, Pike Place Market, and Pioneer Square. It offers fabulous views and quiet residential elegance adjacent to shops, fine restaurants, and coffee houses. At the south base of the hill is Seattle Center, home of the 1962 World's Fair, the Space Needle, Pacific Science Center, Monorail to downtown, the Seattle Opera and Ballet, Seattle Repertory, ACT and Children's Theaters, and the Children's Museum.
